Asset Finance Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Asset Finance Specialist supports clients by sourcing, structuring, and managing asset finance solutions tailored to their personal or business needs. Working closely with mortgage brokers, lenders, and clients, this role ensures a seamless finance process from enquiry through to settlement, while maintaining compliance with Australian regulatory standards.

In Short

• Manage end-to-end asset finance applications, including vehicles, equipment, and business assets
• Assess client financial information to determine suitability and lending options
• Liaise with clients to gather documentation, explain finance structures, and provide updates
• Research, compare, and recommend asset finance products across a panel of lenders
• Prepare and submit loan applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Coordinate with lenders, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate timely approvals and settlements
• Maintain accurate client records in CRM and loan processing systems
• Ensure adherence to NCCP, responsible lending obligations, and internal compliance requirements
• Provide post-settlement support and maintain ongoing client relationships
• Support mortgage brokers with cross-referrals and asset finance opportunities

Requirements

• Previous experience in asset finance, mortgage broking, or financial services preferred
• Strong understanding of asset finance products (chattel mortgage, lease, hire purchase, novated lease, etc.)
• Knowledge of Australian lending and compliance frameworks (NCCP, AML/CTF)
• Excellent communication and client service skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational ability
• Ability to manage multiple applications and deadlines
• Proficiency with CRMs, lender portals, and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace
