Domain & Functional Testing Capability Lead - Remote

Overview

We are seeking an experienced leader to serve as our Domain & Functional Testing Capability Lead. This strategic position will drive excellence in functional testing practices while leveraging deep domain expertise across our organization.

In Short

• Lead and mentor teams of Test Engineers, Test Data Managers, and Business Analysts.
• Develop and implement strategies for functional testing excellence.
• Establish and maintain deep domain knowledge in relevant business areas.
• Oversee the development of comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Guide the development of test data strategies.
• Work with Business Analysts to ensure thorough requirements coverage.
• Implement comprehensive reporting mechanisms for quality metrics.
• Identify and implement process improvements in testing methodologies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and coordinate with development teams.
• Partner with Sales teams to articulate our functional testing capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or comparable experience.
• 10+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
• Strong domain knowledge in relevant business areas.
• Proven ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience with agile methodologies and test management tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
• Experience in client-facing roles and business development.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB Advanced Level, CBAP) are a plus.
