Mid Software Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Software Engineer on the WEX Benefits Technology team, you will work closely with Product Managers and customers to design solutions that address challenges in the employee benefits landscape, while building high-quality software using modern technologies and practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Solid experience in software engineering.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Familiarity with modern RDBMS (e.g., MS SQL, Postgres).
• Passion for modern technologies and design.
• Experience with C# and ASP.NET.
• Knowledge of event-driven design is a plus.
• Willingness to learn modern web frameworks (e.g., Angular, React).
• Familiarity with cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, Kubernetes) is desirable.
