Warranty Service Operations Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Warranty Service Ops role is responsible for providing a high quality customer experience to all Western Digital customers.

In Short

• Oversee operations of multiple outsourced Service Operations providers and internal organization.
• Resolve daily service operations related issues.
• Ensure Logistics capability is in place to fulfill customer requirements.
• Perform reconciliations, validations and audits of warehouse inventory operations.
• Manage commitment methodologies and processes across product groups.
• Generate necessary documentation, including activity/status reports.
• Administer company policies affecting subordinate employees.
• Manage claims for lost or damaged materials.
• Provide excellent customer service for both internal and external customers.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with dynamic priorities.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in a services operations support role.
• Experience with logistics and inventory management.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle).
• International shipping experience required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to manage and maintain positive external business relationships.
• Highly motivated to meet personal and corporate goals.
• Understanding of incoterms and export/import requirements.
