Japanese Linguist - Remote

Overview

We are looking for several English into Japanese translators to join our growing team for one of our global clients. They will take ownership of the incoming work on this account and will actively contribute to the success of the program.

In Short

• Translate and review content from English into Japanese.
• Content types include Informational, Marketing, Legal, Product, and Support.
• Expected capacity per week: 2,000 to 5,000 words.

Requirements

• Proficient in all areas of expertise: Informational, Marketing, Legal, Product, Support.
• Well-versed in various translation & terminology tools.
• Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written).
• Native fluency in Japanese.
• Degree in linguistics, translation, or equivalent experience.
• Able to follow instructions, e.g., character restrictions.
• Able to communicate effectively the rationale behind their transcreation skills.
• Experience working in a multi-vendor scenario is a plus.
