Spanish Linguist - Remote

Overview

DataForce by TransPerfect is seeking a Linguist with idiomatic fluency in Spanish to join our team in Spain, working remotely on data curation and evaluation.

In Short

• Curate and evaluate linguistic data with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Review and assess outputs generated by speech models.
• Execute scripts via command line for task automation or data handling.
• Provide feedback and draw conclusions based on the analyzed data.
• Collaborate with the team to continuously improve data quality and task processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics required.
• Strong understanding of linguistic concepts such as phonetics, syntax, semantics, and morphology.
• Idiomatic fluency in Spanish and advanced level of English required.
• Detail-oriented with good analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Requirements

• Previous experience in similar tasks (data curation, evaluation, or linguistic analysis) is a plus.
• Proficiency in French or Italian is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.
