Overview

The French Linguist is responsible for performing quality control, transcreation, and translation tasks, ensuring high standards and deadlines are met while managing a team of translators.

• Perform quality control tasks on translation projects.
• Conduct transcreation and translation from English to French.
• Manage project-related queries and maintain language materials.

Requirements

• University degree in Translation or Applied Languages.
• 3+ years of experience as a translator or reviewer.
• Fluent in French (native) and English (both written and spoken).
• Experience with Mobile Apps, IT Consumer Products, and Marketing.
• Excellent knowledge of terminology in IT consumer products and social media.
• Thorough understanding of the localization process.
• Proficient in standard software and CAT tools.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and in a virtual team.
