Group Head of Accounting - Remote

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Group Head of Accounting to lead our global accounting operations across multiple jurisdictions. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of accounting activities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and driving process excellence.

In Short

• Lead and manage the Group Accounting function across 3+ jurisdictions.
• Oversee the bank payments process with strong internal controls.
• Manage intercompany elimination and consolidation processes.
• Ensure all accounting documentation is accurate and compliant.
• Develop and maintain strong internal controls.
• Own the month-end and year-end close processes.
• Liaise with external and internal auditors.
• Support local tax and regulatory requirements.
• Lead finance system improvements for efficient operations.
• Build and lead a high-performing international accounting team.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, ACCA is a plus.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience in an international environment.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local GAAPs.
• Experience managing the full accounting cycle in a multi-entity group.
• Hands-on experience with accounts payable and bank payments.
• Strong systems knowledge, ideally with ERP platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Excel and BI tools.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.
