Overview

As a Windows Desktop Support Technician at CVS Health, you will be a frontline resource for employees experiencing technical issues, focusing on Windows environments and providing excellent customer service.

In Short

  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for Windows environments.
  • Resolve issues related to password resets, software upgrades, and hardware problems.
  • Document issues and resolutions in the ticketing system.
  • Collaborate with senior IT staff on escalated issues.
  • Support end-user software installations and updates.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding tasks.
  • Maintain inventory of IT equipment and supplies.
  • Contribute to knowledge base articles for common issues.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with a customer-first attitude.
  • Utilize remote support tools and ticketing systems effectively.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of hands-on IT support experience in a Windows environment.
  • Strong understanding of Windows 10/11 troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Active Directory and Azure AD.
  • Familiarity with Mobile Device Management platforms like Intune.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with Group Policy and Windows imaging tools.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft MCP) preferred.
  • Knowledge of scripting or automation tools is a plus.
