Overview

The Welcome Coordinator at Oak Street Health plays a vital role in creating a welcoming environment for patients, ensuring a positive first and last impression while managing various administrative tasks to enhance the patient experience.

In Short

• Be the first point of contact for patients and guests.
• Conduct visit check-ins and assist with required forms.
• Collect co-pays and update patient information.
• Schedule and reschedule appointments.
• Manage phone lines and conduct outbound calls.
• Maintain cleanliness in the Welcome and Community Room areas.
• May require occasional travel to other centers.
• Provide high-touch assistance to patients.
• Work as part of the Service Team under the Practice Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Strong computer skills and basic knowledge of Google Suite.
• Professional phone etiquette.
• Fluency in Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other community languages preferred.
• US work authorization required.
• Experience in a customer service setting strongly preferred.
• Some college education preferred.
• A flexible and positive attitude.
• A welcoming and nurturing attitude towards older adults.
• High level of integrity.
