Cardiopulmonary Patient Educator - Registered Nurse - Remote

Overview

As a Cardiopulmonary Educator with CVS Health, you will use your clinical skills to educate patients and their caregivers about complex PAH therapies, providing infusion training and clinical support.

In Short

• Consult and collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Work in a specialized nursing area with autonomy in home care services.
• Assist patients with infused or inhaled therapies for PAH.
• Build relationships with patients and caregivers in a one-on-one setting.
• Participate in on-call duties and travel to meet patient needs.
• Work from home when not visiting patients.
• Must live within one hour of Birmingham, AL airport.
• Requires travel across Alabama and other states.

• Full-time position with 40 hours per week.

Requirements

• Active RN license in Alabama.
• Two years of experience in critical care or home infusion.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to travel as needed for the role.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Participate in on-call rotation.
• COVID-19 vaccination required.
• Preferred experience in pulmonary arterial hypertension care.
• Education: RN Diploma, Associates or B.S. degree in nursing.
