Junior Legal Counsel / Compliance Specialist - Remote

In Short

• Redlining and contract review focusing on SaaS license agreements, AVVs, MSAs, NDAs, and procurement contracts.
• Document and policy management for internal compliance regulations and contract registers.
• Support in implementing and maintaining ISMS according to ISO 27001 and related standards.
• Creation, review, and training of internal policies, awareness materials, and Code of Conduct components.
• Monitoring and evaluation of regulatory developments in IT and data protection law.
• Collaboration with Legal, IT Security, Procurement, and Management.

Requirements

• Completed studies in law, business law (LL.B./LL.M.), or comparable training with a legal focus.
• Initial practical experience in contract law or compliance (e.g., internships or entry-level positions).
• Interest in IT law and technical contexts; knowledge of IT contract law, ISO 27001, NIS2, DORA, or data protection is advantageous.
• Independent, structured working style with strong analytical thinking skills.
• Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
• Proficient with common tools (Word, Excel, Teams); willingness to learn new systems (DMS, audit software, etc.).
