Legal & Compliance Counsel - Remote

Overview

Foundry is seeking a Legal & Compliance Counsel to lead and manage enterprise-wide compliance efforts while providing legal support across the organization. This role’s primary focus will be building and executing a global compliance framework, and a secondary focus on supporting commercial legal matters—particularly contract drafting, review, and negotiation.

In Short

• Lead the design and implementation of the company’s compliance program.
• Monitor compliance with AML, KYB, CFT, and other regulations.
• Act as the primary contact for compliance inquiries and audits.
• Review and verify KYB onboarding applications.
• Maintain compliance documentation and training materials.
• Provide legal support for contract review and negotiation.
• Collaborate with various teams to embed compliance in operations.
• Support ad hoc projects related to compliance risk and policy development.
• Contribute to a culture of compliance and ethical decision-making.
• Work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school.
• 5+ years of legal and compliance experience.
• Knowledge of U.S. regulatory frameworks for digital assets.
• Experience managing KYB/AML processes.
• Strong legal drafting and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
