Overview

The IT Service Desk Engineer will provide exemplary service to colleagues across the Weatherbys Banking Group, ensuring IT services run smoothly and effectively.

In Short

  • Join the IT Service Desk team in a customer-centric environment.
  • Work fully onsite during training, then hybrid (2 days remote).
  • Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday.
  • Respond to incidents and service requests through various channels.
  • Maintain a robust asset register for hardware stock.
  • Contribute to team initiatives and projects.
  • Prepare documentation and user guides.
  • Follow standard operating procedures.
  • Salary range: £30,000 - £33,000 per annum.

Requirements

  • 3 years’ experience in a similar helpdesk role.
  • ITIL Foundation certificate (v3 or v4).
  • Strong communication skills for technical explanations.
  • Experience with Active Directory and remote-control tools.
  • Familiarity with ITSM toolsets and modern technologies.
  • Good knowledge of Windows OS and business applications.
  • Foundational understanding of networking technologies.
  • Ability to repair faults in printers and laptops.
