• We are looking for an experienced Lead Software Engineer to provide technical leadership and delivery management.
• You will own the successful delivery of software for your team.
• Collaborate closely with the Product Manager and UX Designer.
• Act as a delivery manager, overseeing the management of tasks.
• Line manager to the Software Engineers in your team.
• Write comprehensible, well tested code.
• Promote industry best practices such as test driven development.
• Support junior team members through pair programming.
• Engage in design discussions and code reviews.
• Continuously improve our products and platform.

Requirements

• Proven knowledge of full-stack Node.js development.
• Exposure to serverless architecture, preferably with AWS.
• Experience in refactoring older systems.
• Experience of leading teams.
• Strong commitment to self-learning.
• Ability to take ownership of tasks and solve problems.
• Experience of agile practices and values.
• Experience of test driven development and pair programming.
• Recent hands-on experience as a senior or lead software engineer.
• Great communication skills.
