Join Wealthsimple as an Associate in the Derivatives team to manage the lifecycle of options, futures, and prediction markets, ensuring operational excellence and collaboration across various teams.

In Short

• Be a key member of the Derivatives clearing team.
• Responsible for operational activities related to derivatives reconciliations and settlements.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure client record accuracy.
• Manage critical trade and position reconciliations.
• Support daily execution across the full derivatives lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot and resolve reconciliation differences.
• Assist with operational risk controls and regulatory reporting.
• Use data to identify inefficiencies and propose solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills required.
• Availability for rotating shifts.

Requirements

• 1-3 years experience in back office reconciliation for derivatives.
• Completion or pursuit of industry certifications (Series 3, CSC, etc.).
• Strong Excel and analytical skills; programming knowledge is a plus.
• Knowledge of CFTC or OCC regulations preferred.
• Interest in prediction markets mechanics.
• Initiative in process improvement.
• Attention to detail with large datasets.
• Excellent people skills and a collaborative attitude.
• Ability to support early and late hours.
