Overview

The Wealthfront Data Science team utilizes our rich financial and behavioral data to influence Marketing, Product and information security decisions. The team draws from backgrounds in Computer Science, Natural Sciences, Statistics, Operations Research, Economics and Finance.

In Short

• Model the dependence of marketing costs on various factors.
• Use statistical models to forecast revenue generation.
• Provide accuracy and explainability to cost and revenue forecasts.
• Create reusable libraries for statistical analyses and forecasting.
• Collaborate with the Marketing team on initiatives and experiments.
• Articulate project rationales and milestones.
• Translate hypotheses and numbers into recommendations.
• Influence marketing strategy through insights.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD degree in relevant fields with 4-8+ years of experience.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Strong foundation in Statistics and machine learning.
• Excellent mathematical and software engineering skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively.
• Mentorship experience preferred.
