Manager, Remote Engineering and Operations

Overview

This position will provide direct support to the Senior Director of Remote Engineering and Operations, assisting in the daily coordination and planning of engineering strategies for all Sports’ remote and MFP-based productions.

• Support daily operations of remote engineering for sports productions.
• Troubleshoot connection issues and provide networking solutions.
• Attend production meetings to discuss show scope and workflows.
• Design and implement workflows for tent pole events.
• Coordinate with vendors for equipment needs.
• Provide technical support and innovations across sports properties.
• Document workflows for crew and production guidelines.
• Select appropriate personnel for specific events.
• Ensure timely completion of engineering tasks.
• Manage communication integration for productions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of broadcast engineering experience, including remote engineering.
• BA or BS from a 4-year institution.
• Proficiency in Autocad and/or Microsoft Visio.
• COMP TIA Network+ or similar certification.
• Certified engineering degree in Electrical or Mechanical fields.
• Computer and networking certifications are a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Team-oriented with a focus on collaboration.
