Financial Accountant - Remote

Wayflyer is on a mission to empower brands by providing fast and accessible financing solutions. We are looking for a highly motivated Financial Accountant to join our team.

In Short

• Responsible for full cycle accounting including general ledger and reconciliations.
• Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with FRS102.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies.
• Assist with external audits.
• Contribute to the development of accounting policies and procedures.
• Support finance projects such as ERP enhancements.
• Identify areas for process improvements.

Requirements

• Recognised accounting qualification (ACCA/ACA).
• Experience in a large accounting firm, preferably in financial services.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and focused on process improvements.
• Experience with ERP systems like NetSuite preferred.
• Knowledge of FRS102 and US GAAP beneficial.
• Strong Excel skills.
