Information Security Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Information Security Analyst will take ownership of security tasks, manage risk, and implement security improvements at Wayflyer.

In Short

• Manage security tasks including risk management and security reviews.
• Deliver Information Security Awareness training to promote a security-focused culture.
• Implement security improvements to existing processes and tools.
• Update and manage security policies in line with ISO 27001 standards.
• Respond to security questions and incidents across the organization.
• Support compliance initiatives and security audits.
• Conduct security risk assessments for new business requirements.
• Collaborate with IT, TPRM, and Legal departments to ensure compliance.
• Implement and maintain security controls including access management.
• Monitor and respond to security events using logging and monitoring infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• 2-3 years of professional experience in Information Security.
• Experience with SOC 2 Type II or ISO 27001 audits.
• Strong understanding of security best practices.
• Knowledge of cloud security principles, preferably AWS.
• Experience with security tools and technologies.
• Understanding of risk management frameworks.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements like GDPR.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication abilities and team collaboration.
