Financial Accountant - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a Financial Accountant to join our dynamic Finance team in Italy. Reporting to the Accounting and Consolidation Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with IFRS principles. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills and a detail-oriented mindset to support our accounting and financial operations.

In Short

• Provide accounting support to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Treasury teams.
• Prepare month-end accounting accruals and ensure accurate financial records.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial closing reports.
• Conduct General Ledger reconciliations.
• Prepare Intercompany Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss account reconciliations.
• Apply IFRS accounting adjustments.
• Analyze and reconcile monthly reporting packages from subsidiaries.
• Maintain mandatory Accounting Books and Accounts.
• Record payroll data and conduct payroll cost reconciliations.
• Handle Fixed Assets accounting.

Requirements

• A degree in Economics, Finance, or Business Management.
• At least 2 years of experience in an audit firm or corporate finance role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS principles (mandatory).
• Familiarity with Navision ERP is a plus.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Collaborative mindset and effective team player.
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is essential.
