Overview

Watershed Security is seeking a PostgreSQL/Oracle Database Administrator to manage data solutions in a secure AWS environment, contributing to the Financial Solutions team.

In Short

Install, monitor, and maintain PostgreSQL database.
Implement monitoring, alerting, backup, and recovery processes.
Fulfill user requests for access control and performance tuning.
Provide production support for PostgreSQL, Hadoop, and AWS RDS.
Hands-on experience in loading and performance tuning of data processes.

Requirements

2-5 years of experience in Database Administration.
Experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL.
Experience with cloud databases, preferably AWS RDS.
Database automation and scripting experience.
Knowledge in database design and modeling.
SQL and query optimization experience.
Database security knowledge.
Backup/Recovery and Performance monitoring experience.
Experience in Data migration and integration.
DoD Secret Clearance Required.
