PostgreSQL Administrator - Remote

Overview

The PostgreSQL Administrator will be part of Pythian's open-source team, providing complete support for database and application infrastructure to a variety of customers. This role emphasizes collaboration, problem-solving, and the opportunity to contribute to the open-source community.

• Work as a PostgreSQL Consultant in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Knowledge in PostgreSQL and MySQL installation and configuration.
• Experience in cloud environments like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Familiarity with scripting (bash/python) and software development.
• Experience with automation technologies like Ansible and Terraform.
• Debugging skills and methodical troubleshooting ability.
• Strong documentation skills.
• Understanding of IT service standards such as ITIL is a plus.
• Contribution to Open Source projects is desirable.
