Cassandra Database Consultant - Remote

Overview

As a Cassandra Database Consultant at Pythian, you will focus on project work involving the design and implementation of new database solutions, while also evaluating existing systems and improving processes through automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Cassandra and MongoDB.
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as Solr and Scylla is a plus.
• Proficiency in programming languages, preferably Shell and Python.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Familiarity with orchestration and configuration management systems.
• Understanding of CI/CD and automation practices.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong problem-solving skills.
