Overview

Warrant Technologies is seeking an experienced Engineer, Computer IV (CWF) to serve as a key contributor to ongoing efforts supporting NSWC Crane in a hybrid role between CTR Facility and on-site at Crane. This position focuses on architecting, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable systems for test and development environments that support Department of Defense (DoD) Command and Control, Sensor, and Cybersecurity initiatives.

In Short

Architect and maintain DoD lab environments supporting R&D and field testing of Command and Control systems.
Design and implement secure CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, and Git.
Develop and manage Kubernetes- and Docker-based microservices infrastructure.
Build and deploy virtualized environments with automated provisioning.
Integrate and configure network hardware to support redundant connectivity and VPN solutions.
Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) repositories and workflows.
Secure systems using DoD-compliant practices.
Support integration testing with government and contractor teams.
Mentor junior staff and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Ensure seamless end-to-end system integration.

Requirements

Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
Preferred: Master’s degree in Systems Engineering or Computer Science.
10+ years in systems engineering, DevOps, or network engineering in DoD environments.
Experience with tools including Jenkins, Git, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, and ESXi.
Strong understanding of networking concepts.
Familiarity with DoD Risk Management Framework processes is desirable.
Active Secret Clearance required.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
