Solutions Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Solutions Engineer (SE) at Wallarm plays a crucial role in the Customer Engineering team, acting as a trusted technical advisor to diverse customers while helping to secure their APIs and web applications.

In Short

• Work closely with sales reps and customers to identify and qualify business opportunities.
• Manage the technical relationship with customers, including product briefings and proof-of-concept work.
• Deliver demos and hands-on demonstrations of Wallarm's value.
• Oversee the end-to-end process for customer proof-of-values (POV).
• Recommend best practices for API security and application architectures.
• Provide feedback from customers to improve Wallarm's solutions.
• Train sales team members on technical aspects of Wallarm products.
• Moderate travel required.

Requirements

• Experience with cloud vendors, Kubernetes, and Nginx configuration.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
• Prior experience as a technical pre-sales engineer at a SaaS security vendor.
• Knowledge of the Application Security industry and API security.
• Experience presenting to technical staff and executives.
• Ability to learn new technologies and methodologies quickly.
• Highly motivated and self-directed individual.
• Excellent communication and persuasive skills.
