Electrical Substation Engineer - Hybrid - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an Electrical Substation Engineer to join our ICE Team to improve infrastructure in our Michigan offices. The candidate must have a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and five to ten years of experience with high voltage substation design.

In Short

• Lead engineer on substation design projects
• Coordinate with internal/external team members
• Perform quality reviews of project deliverables
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring
• Assist in developing engineering standards
• Attend and conduct client/project meetings
• Create scope, budget, and schedule for tasks
• Develop electrical design deliverables
• Maintain excellent client relations
• Flexible work schedule (hybrid or remote)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 5 - 10 years of experience with high voltage substation design
• Strong knowledge of utility standards and construction techniques
• Exposure to Bentley Projectwise, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam Revu
• Professional Engineering License preferred
• Willingness to travel
