Electrical Substation Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an Electrical Substation Engineer to join our ICE Team to improve infrastructure in our Michigan offices, requiring a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and experience with high voltage substation design.

In Short

• Lead engineer on substation design projects.
• Coordinate with internal/external team members.
• Perform quality reviews of project deliverables.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
• Assist in developing engineering standards.
• Attend client and project meetings.
• Create project scope, budget, and schedule.
• Develop electrical design deliverables.
• Maintain excellent client relations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5 - 10 years of experience with high voltage substation design.
• Strong knowledge of utility standards and construction techniques.
• Exposure to Bentley Projectwise, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam Revu preferred.
• Professional Engineering License preferred.
• Willingness to travel.
