Senior Accountant - Global Finance - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant - Global Finance to lead and oversee the compliance activities for our India entity. This role requires a strong understanding of Indian tax laws, including direct and indirect taxes, as well as the ability to work effectively with company service providers to ensure timely and accurate filings.

In Short

• Lead and coordinate with company service providers for Withholding Tax compliance.
• Oversee Corporate Tax Compliance including filing of corporate tax returns.
• Ensure compliance with Goods and Services Tax (GST) for the India entity.
• Oversee bank reconciliations and month-end close process.
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance requirements are met.
• Provide insights to senior management for financial planning.
• Manage financial reporting, payroll, and financial statement preparation.
• Audit support.
• Strong knowledge of Indian tax laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field.
• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in tax, compliance, and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of Indian tax laws, GST, and transfer pricing regulations.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work cross-functionally.
