Senior Financial Accountant - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a hands-on and proactive Senior Financial Accountant who will ensure compliance with accounting standards, timely month-end closing, drive our technical accounting expertise, and support the financial health of Ofload through accurate and timely reporting.

In Short

• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Assist in drafting technical accounting papers and policies.
• Perform and oversee the monthly close process.
• Manage and reconcile the consolidated balance sheet.
• Act as a liaison with external auditors and tax accountants.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align financial processes.
• Strong experience in technical accounting treatments.
• CA/CPA fully qualified.

Requirements

• CA/CPA fully qualified.
• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
• Experience in technical accounting treatments.
• Experience using the Netsuite ERP preferred.
• Preparation of Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) returns preferred.
• Familiarity with payroll tax regulations preferred.
• Deep understanding of accounting standards.
• Ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Proactive problem-solving skills.
