Voyagu is a San Francisco-based travel management company that connects premium travelers with travel experts for better and easier planning, booking, and managing of their trips. Being part of a growing billion-dollar travel industry, we already have millions in our revenue and a team of a hundred people with offices in San Francisco, Amsterdam, Warsaw, and Mexico City, and we keep expanding. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Legal Counsel to support our legal needs across multiple areas of our business operations.

The Legal Counsel will be responsible for managing and advising on all legal aspects of the company, including intellectual property, regulatory compliance, vendor contracts, corporate structure, and employment matters across the US, Europe, and Mexico. This role is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented legal professional with global experience supporting fast-paced, tech-driven companies.

• Managing the protection of the company’s intellectual property assets, including software, trademarks, and proprietary technology.
• Overseeing the filing and maintenance of trademarks and patents.
• Managing and resolving IP-related disputes and infringement issues.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant US travel industry regulations, including DOT and FAA requirements.
• Drafting and reviewing customer terms of service and privacy policies.
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts with vendors and partners.
• Advising on corporate structure and governance requirements.
• Advising on employment matters across the US, Europe, and Mexico.
• Providing strategic legal advice to senior leadership.
• Assisting in dispute resolution and litigation management.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent legal qualification.
• 8+ years of legal experience, preferably in-house or with startups.
• Strong expertise in intellectual property law and contract negotiation.
• Global legal experience, particularly in the US, Europe, and Mexico.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and provide pragmatic legal advice.
