Head of Legal - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Legal to provide strategic legal counsel to our Group. As the Head of Legal, you will play a key role in shaping our legal strategy, managing legal risks, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations in the fintech industry.

In Short

• Providing comprehensive legal support to all companies within the Group.
• Offering legal guidance on all commercial transactions undertaken by the Group.
• Assisting in the onboarding process with new partners.
• Updating corporate documents and liaising with governmental bodies.
• Selecting suitable jurisdictions and registering new companies.
• Participating in the launch of licenses for new jurisdictions.
• Managing external legal service providers.
• Developing and maintaining internal documentation.
• Providing legal counsel on compliance, AML, and KYC processes.
• Handling disputes and drafting legal responses.

Requirements

• Degree in Legal.
• Minimum of 10 years of legal experience.
• Experience in providing legal support across different jurisdictions.
• Good knowledge of international law related to payments/fintech.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to provide critical compliance advice.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
