Part-time Placements Coordinator - Remote

Overview

The part-time Placements Coordinator will work approximately 20 hours per week, playing a key role in the Vouch Horizon Brokerage team, primarily handling market-facing responsibilities and collaborating with client managers to place insurance products efficiently and effectively.

In Short

• Support client managers and producers by assessing coverage needs and making initial placement recommendations.
• Participate in carrier negotiations, securing favorable terms and conditions.
• Manage the full lifecycle of the insurance placement process across multiple lines of coverage.
• Track and analyze the revenue impact of placement decisions.
• Develop a foundational understanding of direct insurance markets vs. wholesale brokers.
• Ensure accurate documentation of all market-facing activities.
• Process policies, binders, and endorsements through carrier and agency management systems.
• Follow predefined processes and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Maintain and update systems for policy documentation and claims tracking.
• Act as a liaison between clients and insurance markets.

Requirements

• 2+ years of property & casualty insurance experience.
• Experience in a client-facing or market-facing role.
• Strong relationship management skills.
• Negotiation skills with carriers and clients.
• Proven experience managing a portfolio of customers.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and proactive.
• Comfortable working in ambiguous situations.
• Active P&C license required.
