Overview

The Senior Underwriting Specialist is responsible for ensuring compliance with company and payment service provider rules while performing underwriting and risk assessments for new and existing customers.

Ensure adherence to company and payment service providers’ rules and policies.
Comply with underwriting standards to minimize risks and maximize conversion.
Perform underwriting and risk assessment of customers.
Setup processes and monitor checks related to merchant underwriting.
Evaluate and update internal procedures and policies.
Support stakeholders regarding merchants.
Conduct periodic merchant reviews and audits.

Requirements

2+ years of experience in banking / financial services.
Knowledge of payment schemes rules.
Experience in acquiring operations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Underwriting certificates are an advantage.
Professional level English.
