Overview

Our client is Australia’s largest provider of aesthetic and medical-grade technology. They deliver cutting-edge treatment technology, skincare, accessories, and business support to over 4,500 stockists across Australia, New Zealand, and beyond. They are now looking to hire a People and Culture Assistant to directly support the People and Culture team in developing a high-performing culture.

In Short

  • Assist the Recruitment Officer with phone screens, interviews, reference checks, and updating the Candidate Management System (CMS).
  • Facilitate pre-employment checks once an offer is accepted.
  • Support the People & Culture Manager and Recruitment Officer with employee life cycle activities.
  • Coordinate various check-ins and surveys throughout the employee's initial months.
  • Manage the Annual Reflect, Learn & Grow Program and the Probationary Review Program.
  • Coordinate with the hiring manager and departments to ensure streamlined onboarding.
  • Manage the deactivation of IT access and update the asset register during offboarding.
  • Conduct Quarterly Happiness surveys and report results.
  • Act as the main point of contact for HRIS queries and provide training.
  • Communicate payroll changes to the third-party payroll provider.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience with HRIS systems, preferably Employment Hero.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Experience in recruitment and onboarding processes.
  • Understanding of payroll processes and related tasks.
  • Positive attitude and a passion for employee culture.
