Overview

As a Federal Customer Support Engineer, you will lead Virtru’s efforts in supporting and enabling federal clients leveraging Virtru’s Trusted Data Format (TDF) to protect sensitive data across domains. This role is central to the success of Virtru’s Data Security Platform (DSP), ensuring seamless deployment, troubleshooting, and customer support for mission-critical environments.

In Short

  • Act as a primary support resource for federal customers.
  • Troubleshoot data-centric security solutions in hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
  • Partner with Deployment Engineers and Customer Success Managers.
  • Diagnose misconfigurations in .yaml files.
  • Provide deep technical knowledge in Microsoft environments.
  • Assist in Active Directory integrations.
  • Develop and refine internal and external documentation.
  • Create training materials for federal clients.
  • Identify and implement process improvements.
  • Work collaboratively across teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience supporting Microsoft products.
  • 3+ years of experience troubleshooting hybrid environments.
  • Awareness of government and DoD networks.
  • Customer-focused and innovative problem solver.
  • Effective communicator with technical concepts.
  • Collaborative partner across teams.
  • Certifications like CKAD, CCNA, Security+ are preferred.
  • Familiarity with zero trust architecture and encryption.
  • Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure is a plus.
