In Short

• Build and manage a team of part-time nurses.
• Conduct clinical intake visits with patients via video/phone.
• Educate patients about Virta’s treatment.
• Manage QA/QI and scheduling for the nursing team.
• Provide feedback and updates to clinical workflows.
• Commit to high-quality patient care.
• Work approximately half time with patients and half time managing the team.
• Support the development of quality initiatives.
• Occasional travel for team events.
• Promote a values-driven culture within the team.

Requirements

• Active RN license in a Nursing Compact state.
• Minimum of 2 years experience with diabetes patients.
• 3+ years of experience managing nurses.
• Interest in diabetes care and low carbohydrate nutrition.
• Telehealth or startup experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and bedside manner.
• Team player with a focus on patient care.
• Eligible for licensure in every U.S. state.
• Interest in working with a tech-enabled healthcare organization.
• Commitment to patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
