Manager, Referrals - Shared Services - Remote

Overview

The Access Center Manager, Referrals is responsible for ensuring patients referred from a CityMD or Summit Health Location are scheduled for the appropriate follow-up care as part of our commitment to providing coordinated care.

In Short

• Lead a team of Supervisors and agents in the Access Center.
• Ensure all protocols are followed and performance metrics are met.
• Optimize workflows and processes for referral scheduling.
• Handle escalated patient and site concerns.
• Create action plans to solve business issues.
• Monitor employee engagement and design programs to maintain it.
• Coordinate with vendor partners for agent success.
• Attend regular meetings to review performance.
• Assist with reporting on department metrics.
• Enforce policies related to information flow and systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Access/Call Center management.
• Strong communication skills.
• Working knowledge of EHRs is a plus.
• Experience in a healthcare environment is a must.
• Able to analyze trends and create action plans.
• Positive attitude and compassion for others.
• Willingness to travel if needed.
• Comfortable with constructive feedback.
