• This is a 100% remote role for candidates based in the Washington D.C. Metro Area.
• Candidates can be located within a 2-hour commute from Alexandria, Virginia.
• Seeking a Mid Level Java Developer with experience in developing J2EE applications.
• Design, develop, and implement web-based Java applications.
• Follow approved Agile life cycle methodologies.
• Resolve technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation.
• 5-6 years of experience in a related position required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills necessary.
• Experience with various Java technologies and databases.
• Salary range: $94,000-103,000.

Requirements

• 5-6 years of experience in a related position.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong knowledge in Java Technologies like J2EE, JSP, Servlets, JDBC, Spring, Springboot, JPA, Web Services (REST).
• Experience with production support and issue resolution.
• Experience with documenting technical specifics and/or tech design.
• Experience designing and performing unit testing, functional testing, and code reviews.
• Experience with application front-end code bases such as HTML, JSP, JavaScript, jQuery, and CSS.
• Experience with Database design including Stored Procedures, DML and DDL tasks.
• Experience with GIT version control and familiarity with code repository hosting services.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tooling i.e. Jenkins/Docker/AWS/webhooks.
