• This is a 100% remote role for candidates based in the Washington D.C. Metro Area (D.C., Maryland, Virginia).
• Candidates can be located within a 2-hour commute.
• The role includes planning, organizing, staffing, directing, integrating, and controlling activities to meet schedule and performance requirements.
• The SME manages day-to-day operations, including administrative functions, risk assessment, identifying assumptions, and resolving interpersonal conflicts.
• Responsible for duties and activities required to ensure program/project success.
• Actively participate in the management decision-making process.

Requirements

• Must possess an active IT-2 security clearance.
• Must hold a relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT/logistics project or program management, with specific expertise in EDI/XML.
• Supervisory experience in managing teams and operations.
• Experience in DoD logistics functions, including finance, supply, contract administration, transportation, and project management.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Project for planning and tracking.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to assess risks, identify assumptions, and resolve interpersonal conflicts.
• Strong organizational and decision-making skills.
