Scrum Master - Remote

Overview

This is a 100% remote role for candidates based in the Washington D.C. Metro Area (D.C., Maryland, Virginia). The Scrum Master will manage new development, O&M, and end-of-life projects, ensuring oversight of all team deliverables and conducting agile ceremonies.

In Short

• Manage full life-cycle software development following Agile processes.
• Conduct agile team ceremonies including daily standups and retrospectives.
• Oversee all team deliverables on the project.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Technical Team Leads.
• Facilitate Quarterly Planning and coordinate with dependent teams.
• Perform story analysis and manage User Stories evolution.
• Answer ad-hoc questions and provide direction to teams.
• Anticipate and resolve risks and issues across workgroups.
• Experience with Agile frameworks such as SAFe and Kanban.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.

Requirements

• Experience with initiating and managing IT projects.
• Experience with Agile processes and ceremonies.
• Ability to collaborate with Product Owners and developers.
• Knowledge of Agile software development frameworks.
• Experience in managing User Stories and backlog items.
• Ability to facilitate troubleshooting sessions.
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
