Overview

The AIS Cardiologist will evaluate primarily Radiographs, Echocardiograms, and ECGs in a remote setting, contributing to veterinary cardiology through diagnostic evaluations.

In Short

  • Perform diagnostic evaluations in Veterinary Cardiology.
  • Review and interpret Radiographs, Echocardiograms, and ECGs remotely.
  • Dictate medical evaluations using dictation software.
  • Collaborate with colleagues via chat, email, or phone.
  • Consult with clients and veterinary professionals through various communication methods.
  • Participate in online AIS clinic rounds and professional enrichment.
  • Maintain proficiency in clinical diagnostic skills.
  • Support consultation services as needed.
  • Engage in continuing education and quality control programs.
  • May assist in enterprise initiatives and special projects.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree or equivalent.
  • Diplomat of American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (Cardiology).
  • Expertise in interpreting radiographs, ultrasound, and ECGs.
  • Must be licensed to practice veterinary medicine in respective state.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong commitment to high medical quality standards.
  • Ability to think critically and pay attention to detail.
  • Organized with multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with clients and management.
  • Previous experience with Dragon software and DICOM viewers is a plus.
