UI/UX and Design Analyst - Remote

This is a full-time employee (W-2) position supporting a federal government client, specifically within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). You will play a critical role in crafting intuitive and impactful user experiences for web-based and client-server applications. This opportunity is tailored for a U.S. citizen with a passion for design and a desire to influence significant government projects.

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant design experience required.
• Must be a U.S. citizen to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
• Lead design sprints and conduct user research.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to create user-centered designs.
• Design user experiences for web-based applications.
• Conduct usability testing and prototype evaluations.
• Mentor and supervise other team members.
• Proficiency in design tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, and Figma.
• Experience in the government sector is highly desirable.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a UI/UX designer.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in web-based and client-server application design.
• Experience conducting usability testing and user research.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and familiarity with DevSecOps environments.
• Experience with accessibility standards and regulations is preferred.
• Current Public Trust clearance or ability to obtain such clearance.
