Associate Corporate Counsel - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic junior counsel to be a founding member of the Veza Legal team. You will work closely with Sales, Partnerships, and other cross functional business teams to draft and negotiate contracts.

In Short

• Serve as a Legal point of contact for go-to-market and procurement deals.
• Participate in the negotiation of partnership, reseller, customer, and vendor agreements.
• Work with cross-functional teams to build scalable processes to increase deal velocity.
• Draft and maintain agreement templates.
• Work on other special projects as needed.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of legal experience, preferably as in-house counsel.
• Strong understanding of cloud services, general SaaS business practices.
• Ability to work independently to manage and negotiate agreements.
• Strong judgment, risk-assessment skills.
• Adaptive and creative when problem solving, excellent communication skills.
• Ability to manage fast-moving workstreams and multiple stakeholders.
• Interested in exploring and integrating AI into workflows.
• Cooperative team player, willing to take on additional responsibilities.
• Possess a great attitude and sense of humor.
