Overview

Vericast is seeking an experienced Strategic Events Manager to lead our owned, internal, national and state association events strategy and execution. This role serves as the strategic architect and operational driver of our event presence across the financial services industry, managing a comprehensive portfolio of owned events and association partnerships that drive business growth and strengthen client relationships.

In Short

  • Lead the strategy and execution of owned events and association partnerships.
  • Manage up to 10 owned events annually and participation in 25+ association events.
  • Coordinate all event logistics including venue selection and travel.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams for event success.
  • Negotiate contracts with venues and vendors.
  • Track event metrics and provide post-event analysis.
  • Travel extensively across the USA for event execution.
  • Manage event budgets and timelines effectively.
  • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and vendors.
  • Utilize event management software and tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or related field preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in event management, preferably in B2B or financial services.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple large-scale events.
  • Strong project management and relationship-building skills.
  • Willingness to travel 50%+ of the time.
  • Proficiency with event management software and CRM systems.
  • Experience managing event budgets of $100,000 - $1,000,000.
  • Knowledge of financial services associations and industry conference calendars.
  • Experience working with destination management companies.
  • Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) or similar certification preferred.
