Process Safety Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Process Safety Engineer will work closely with various teams to identify and mitigate process safety risks within chemical manufacturing operations, providing technical guidance and training to ensure safety compliance.

• Identify process safety risks in chemical manufacturing.

• Lead onsite support for start-up trials.

• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulations.
• Drive continuous improvements using Lean Six Sigma.
• Travel 30%-50% of the time.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 5-10 years of experience with OSHA Process Safety Management.
• Understanding of chemical plant processes and safety.
• Experience in conducting Process Safety training.
• Familiarity with NFPA 30 and other safety regulations.
• 2+ years of experience in the chemical industry.
• Understanding of Process Hazard Assessments.
• Ability to travel frequently.
