Process Safety Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Process Safety Engineer at Veolia Group, you will work closely with various teams to identify process safety risks in chemical manufacturing and develop mitigation strategies.

In Short

• Support Global Process Chemistry team in addressing process safety.
• Maintain global communications for resource utilization.
• Represent Global Process Chemistry in meetings and projects.
• Investigate operational strategies for cost-out initiatives.
• Conduct onsite audits and follow up on corrective actions.
• Provide technical support during design and commissioning of projects.
• Assemble process safety information for Hazard Analyses.
• Implement internal standards for hazardous processes.
• Drive continuous improvements based on Lean Six Sigma.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 5-10 years of experience with OSHA Process Safety Management.
• Understanding of chemical plant processes and safety.
• Experience in conducting Process Safety training.
• Ability to drive compliance culture in the Chemical Industry.
• Understanding of risks in blend plants.
• Knowledge of Process Hazard Assessments.
• Ability to travel 30%-50% of the time.
