Financial Accountant, Staff - Remote

Overview

The Financial Accountant Staff is part of the Shared Service organization, overseeing the management and reporting of financial data, preparing, examining, and analyzing financial records.

In Short

• Remote opportunity available in various states including VA, MD, WV, NC, SC, GA, FL, TN, KY, KS, AL, AR, MO, OH, MI, TX.
• Prepares and analyzes financial statements and records.
• Ensures financial compliance and manages financial procedures.
• Handles month-end and year-end closings.
• Responsible for accounts payable and receivable.
• Conducts tax returns and bank reconciliations.
• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Minimum of two years of accounting experience is required.
• Excellent communication skills are necessary.
• Independent work with minimal supervision is expected.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with automated accounting systems.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or CPA preferred.
• Experience in public accounting is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects to completion.
• Knowledge of audit and internal controls is beneficial.
