Head of HR - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Head of HR to lead and build up our recruiting and people operations functions in a remote-first work culture.

In Short

• Be the first HR person at the company handling recruiting and HR topics hands-on.
• Own and manage the full-cycle recruiting process across roles and departments.
• Source candidates actively through LinkedIn, referrals, etc.
• Review applications and manage the interview process in the ATS.
• Conduct initial screening interviews with applicants.
• Manage and continuously improve the onboarding process for new hires.
• Oversee and structure internal people management processes.
• Act as a key point of contact for all HR inquiries.
• Define and standardize HR policies and workflows.
• Build out the HR department and define the HR strategy.

Requirements

• Experience being the first/early HR hire in a fast-growing B2B software startup.
• Demonstrated success scaling the HR department in an international software startup.
• Willingness to work hands-on on recruiting and people ops topics.
• Extensive experience in both recruiting and HR/People Operations.
• Proven track record of managing the full-cycle recruiting process.
• Familiarity with international and US employment practices.
• Experience working with ATS and HRIS, and modern tools.
• Flexibility to conduct interviews across time zones.
• Good understanding of market-standard compensation and benefits.
