Resident Engineer - O&M Landscape - Remote

Overview

The Resident Engineer will oversee all engineering work related to landscape infrastructure, ensuring compliance with standards and managing the operations and maintenance activities.

In Short

• Act as the Engineer with delegated authority during construction.
• Communicate with the Contractor and inspect operations.
• Direct and monitor the O&M supervision team.
• Review and control the baseline schedule of works.
• Advise on contractual matters related to landscape and irrigation.
• Prepare progress reports and measure work against planned progress.
• Coordinate with other discipline Resident Engineers.
• Submit reports on site accidents or near misses.
• Participate in contract administration and value engineering.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of records.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Agriculture Engineering.
• Mandatory Equivalency certificate from the Ministry of Education - UAE.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in landscape infrastructure construction.
• At least 5 years in O&M management and engineering contracts.
• Knowledge of international standards and ADM regulations.
• Valid Practicing Engineer card issued by Abu Dhabi authorities.
• Proficient in IT and computer literate.
• Strong focus on Quality Assurance and Statistical Quality Control.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Thorough understanding of contractual relationships.
